The Collapse of the South Tower
| I was on the phone with my wife while taking this series of shots. As the tower collapsed, her building, two blocks away from the WTC swung and swayed. She screamed and hung up on me. From across the river, I heard a low deep rumble, followed by a higher metallic swishing sound; the decorative elements of the exterior, I suppose. |
