Fading Memorials
| The police barrier and red wall photos were taken
around 6:30 AM two mornings after, in the rain. The police barrier was
in front of the New School for Social Research, one of the early sites
designated as a family center. That is, if you were lost or disoriented,
a victim, you would come to or call these centers where your family
might be waiting for you.
Unfortunately it became clear fairly quickly that hope, as these rain-soaked posters, was fading fast. |
